Camp Pinnacles is an overnight Science Camp that serves elementary school students in the Central Coast region. Hands on resource immersion activities are planned for students to have fun while learning more about the natural and cultural history of the region. Curriculum based activities get the students engaged in active learning and problem solving. Camp Pinnacles is made possible through a collaboration with Pinnacles Partnership and a grant from the Community Foundation for San Benito County. Volunteers and funding support from Pinnacles Partnership have made Camp Pinnacles a great success!
Camp Pinnacles began by serving the one room schools in south San Benito County, grades K-8. Camp Pinnacles expanded to include the Hollister Dual Language Academy (HDLA), a Hollister Elementary School District public school and a sister school to Pinnacles National Park's sister park in Argentina. In 2015 Camp Pinnacles expanded to include schools in Monterey and Santa Clara counties.
One of the goals of Camp
Pinnacles is to put students on a pathway to becoming good stewards
of the land we all share.

During Camp Pinnacles 2011, artist Shannon Grissom and 130 children built a stone labyrinth. This project was made possible by grants from The Pinnacles Partnership, The E-Cubed Foundation, and The San Benito Arts Council.
